The ULTIMATE recommendation
My partner and I are hoping to get married ourselves at the Chateau. Out of all of the bands I’ve seen over the years you guys are by far my family’s favourite so I was wondering if you’re available?Famous chateau venue owner, France
If you’re getting married in southwest France
you’ve got to BOOK SouthWest
The SouthWest set list is designed to keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long…
With massive hits from Chic, Pharrell Williams, Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Prince, Franz Ferdinand, David Bowie, Queen, Kylie and many, many more, there really is something for everybody.
Unlike some other bands, everything you hear from SouthWest is 100% live. This party is just for you.
Take a look at this short video, featuring clips from the set we played at the last wedding of the 2022 season. At the wonderful Chateau du Doux.

Meet your French wedding BAND
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your performance at my wedding on Saturday atVictoria Hepburn
Chateau la Durantie! You were absolutely brilliant and everyone has been commenting on how good the band were. The dance floor was packed all night which is exactly what I was hoping for. You were brilliant!
Add solo piano for the CEREMONY and COCKTAILS
When you book SouthWest for the evening, you can add up to 90 minutes of solo piano for a specially reduced rate. François has created a set list of solo piano arrangements and songs in French and Portuguese, to give your wedding reception a truly international flavour.
Wedding ceremony music
When planning music for your ceremony, there are four key moments to consider:
- Romantic music while guests arrive
- Then something special for the wedding processional
- A classical interlude for the signing of the register
- And an upbeat love song for the wedding recessional
Music for cocktails
For your first drinks party as a married couple, you can relax and enjoy beautiful songs on piano, to get you in the mood for an evening on the dance floor with the full band.
SouthWest played at our wedding, and it was absolutely great. They are highly capable and talented musicians with a brilliant set. They were happy to tailor everything to our day and work with a couple of friends who we wanted to include on stage. We were only sad when it ended! During the day, Alex played piano for the bits where music mattered. It was very touching, very poignant – he is a great talent. Again, he included and worked with a couple of the guests, which added massively to the day.Jonathan Foster-Smith

SouthWest played our wedding in August 2019. They had people up dancing and singing from the start of their set until the end. They were professional and responsive to emails and calls in the months leading up to the wedding.
A large number of our guests commented to us how great the band was since our wedding.
Furthermore, Alex played keyboard for our ceremony and even learnt the bride’s mother’s favorite song for procession of the bride, and the music to a hymn.
We can only thank them for everything they did to help make our wedding day so special!Jack Holland
